Past projects
Before we focused on expedition and motorhome specials, plenty of other builds went through the workshop. Most of them we no longer actively offer, but they are worth showing — you can see where the craft came from.
An older crane turned into a recovery and towing special: aluminium lockable boxes, a 10 t winch, an air hose reel, new plating around the slew ring, a camera system on the boom, a light bar and a full repaint of the body and the boom. Including a service — all filters and the hydraulic oil replaced.
Special trailers for in-plant transport between the production and warehouse halls of the Kia car plant in Slovakia. 4.5 m (14 ft 9 in) high with a further 30 cm hydraulic lift for loading; because of the oversize height they were assembled and raised on site in Žilina.
An unbraked trailer up to 750 kg in aluminium and stainless steel. Unsinkable thanks to marine foam, with folding sides and an opening tailgate. In the Czech Republic it can be driven from the age of 15 without a boat licence.
The smaller sibling of the Mini in the same construction — aluminium and stainless steel, with options from an outboard to a telescopic ladder into the water.
A solar catamaran for four passengers and a helmsman. An aluminium deck on two displacement hulls, electric drive charged from the roof panels.
The two-seat version for recreational cruising. A solar panel above the deck, an electric outboard and a weight an ordinary trailer can handle.
The cargo variant — a floating work platform for moving material and people on calm water.
The 2017 prototype where it all started. A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter converted to float — mainly to prove the watertight pass-throughs. It can be serviced at any authorised workshop.
Conversion of an American amphibious bus — bodywork and drivetrain reworked for service on water and on the road.
An open-top sightseeing bus for city tours.
A road-legal tourist train — tractor and carriages for guided city loops.
Light frames and bars for trucks, including fitting and wiring.
Consultation
Come with an idea, leave with a proposal. We will walk through it in the workshop itself, among the vehicles being built — two hours from most European capitals, a direct flight from the US east coast. We will tell you straight away what works, what does not — and what it means for approval.
A tour of the workshop can be part of the consultation. By arrangement we will show you vehicles under construction — the structure a finished one hides.
