Hearses
Van conversions for funeral services, approved and registered
We convert vans into hearses: an aluminium floor on rollers, a sliding coffin tray with manual or powered operation, widened rear pillars, LED lighting. The funeral service takes over a vehicle with its paperwork done.
What the vehicle gets
The load area is lined in aluminium. A floor with rollers and guide rails takes two coffins side by side; the sliding tray brings them out through the rear and the side door. We widen the rear pillars so nothing slows the tray. A lower roller blind covers the storage space and the LED ceiling lighting dims from a single button.
Base vehicle
Most often a Ford Transit Custom; the latest build is on the new generation. We will also convert a van you already own, or source one with you.
Paperwork
The conversion is approved and entered in the vehicle documents as a special-purpose vehicle. Without that a funeral service cannot put it on the road, so for us it is part of the delivery, not an extra.
⚠ To be supplied by the client: number of hearses built, typical lead time and indicative price, the funeral service's name if it may be published.

Consultation
Let's talk about
your project
Come with an idea, leave with a proposal. We will walk through it in the workshop itself, among the vehicles being built — two hours from most European capitals, a direct flight from the US east coast. We will tell you straight away what works, what does not — and what it means for approval.
The workshop where they are built
A tour of the workshop can be part of the consultation. By arrangement we will show you vehicles under construction — the structure a finished one hides.
